got nasty cold at the moment so i'm off work... not fair.. i'm soooo bored..
ah well, got a new toy to play with. its a downloaded program called Morheus... it works really well.. got loads of kewl stuff now :)
went to a brill gig on mondy nite in manchester - Buck O Nine supoorted by Uncle Brian and King Prawn. I've only recently been introduced to Buck O Nine and i was really impressed by what i heard on CD. They were absolutley amazing live. I really enjoyed their set. I'd heard some not too favourable things about King Prawn but i also enjoyed their set loads too. They had sooo much energy.. they wre egreat. I'd seen Uncle Brian a few months ago when they supported Reel Big Fish in Manchester and i was pleased to see them again. They're the only band who dare to do a Vengaboys cover... and get away with it!!!!!!!!
I got myself a kewl girly t-shirt at the gig, and a million Moon Ska Records stickers :)
My mum is doing well... she dialyses herself at home now... she doesnt have a machine yet, when she does she'll be able to do it overnight. She still goes into hosiptal each day to be monitored and such like, but she dialyses herself in the evening, which is going really well :)
Went to see harry Potter last nite... i really enjoyed it! I havent read the books and i think i would have been at a distinct advantage if i'd read them beforehand. It was a brill film... very long, but that didnt matter!! My mate Julia accompanied me and threw half her popcorn all over the floor! i mean, if she didnt want it she just had to say!!!!!
