had a good couple of days off..... on saturday night after work i went over to lexys house. i got fed lovely moroccan chicken and veggies, which were just simply divine!!! we then drank vodka and bacardi and played on the playstation till 2 in the morning!! we had such a good laugh, and we battered that game to death!!!!! we played some more on sunday and then round 5ish i went to the flat, to find a very fragile karina, still recovering from the previous night!

we ordered pizza, which really hit the spot, and then we got ready and went out. we went into the Lisbon first, but it was way to unbearable with a dj claiming to be playing music, but it was more like torture!! we went round the corner to the Porthole, which is a small very odd bar, reminiscent of someones bathroom, but nice enough and fairly quiet.

after that we headed to the G-bar, where we spent the rest of the night. i've never been there on a sunday before but i had a great night. we all got wasted and danced like nutters, whilst trying not to fall over!!. a mate of K's runs the Love Lounge there, which is a nice seperate room, and we sat there and nattered for ages!! as per usual we left when the place closed, grabbed a taxi home and then we sat up talking for hours. well, K didnt cos she crashed out about half an hour after we got in, and slept right through!

the next morning i woke up around 6am and felt soooo bad, i really thought i was going to die!! i slept for another couple of hours and then got up and emptied the few bits and pieces that were in the front bedroom, as the carpet fitters were due to call, and they needed the room empty. so i did all that, kinda got dressed and went back to bed.

i got up a few times and wandered round, waiting for the carpet guys to call, but by 12.45 i was getting concerned, so i gave them a call. they hadnt come cos they thought that we'd called to cancel, but they'd got us mixed up with someone else!!! the guy i spoke to went off to sort it out, called back and said there was someone on smithdown who was just doing a job there, but would be round to us in an hour or so. they came round, fitted the carpet in about 10mins, and then left!! which was all good!

so now my room has a carpet at long last!!!! it looks sooooooooooo different!!!! i ordered some curtains from the catalogue last night too, theyre navy with a bit of a pattern on them, and theyre cheap!!!!!!! hurrah!!!! gotta get some net curtains too, but theres no rush for them, and theyre cheap anyway! i ordered some furniture from Argos the other day and its arrived this morning. i already have a canvas covered wardrobe, and i've got a cheat of drawers and a small shelving unit thing now too!!! its all gonna be sooooooooo pretty!!!

seems that i might actually get to move in soon!!!! shocker!!!!! i cant wait, its been such a long time coming, but it will be soooooooo worth it!!!
