my review of the gig last night

secondnature played the KH last night, from the first song it was obvious to everyone that they were going to be a very hard act to follow. this was definitely the best gig i've seen them do so far. the band were so tight and showed an amazing amount of energy. they played very professionally indeed, they were the most polished i've seen them, but still with enough freedom to be themselves.

their songs alternated between pure agression and frustration, and hypnotic and spine tingling. the music gets inside your head, make you want to move and sing along. many of the songs gave me goosbumps all over as they were so powerful.

secondnature really seem to have taken their music to the next level, the sort of level which in time will bring them the success they yearn for, and totally deserve.

cadium followed and they were ok, but a bit too grungey and didnt really impress me very much. and Trapt were very disappointing, i'd heard they were supposed to be good, but that couldnt be further from the truth. they were just a load of poo.

a good night was had by all, it was jons and mr nicks birthday nights out and they both seemed happily drunk :o) it was also PPP's leaving do. she was a little drunk but gave me a lovely speech before she left that almost had me in tears as well as her. it means so much when someone really tells you that you mean a lot to them, especially when its in ways you dont expect :o) i'm gonna miss her loads, but as i promised her i'll be visiting her before xmas, all being well :o)
