we're doing training at the moment so its pretty easy. we've been doing all the background stuff about insurance so far and tomorrow we go into detail about all the different policies and stuff. after that we get taugh how to use the computer systems and then it all comes together at the end of the 4 weeks. we also get chances to listen into calls twice a week, and in the 4th week we're expected to take a call or two so we have a clue how to do the job.
i woke up on monday morning with an evil cold, which has now all gone to my chest, which is even more evil. so i'm all bunged up and coughing my guts up at the same time, which is nice. i had a bitch of a morning on tuesday as well, the osrt of morning where you wish you hadnt got up. to start with just as i was leaving the house my bag fell off the bed, and landed on the pocket where my phone was. this caused the screen of the cover to smash which pissed me off greatly as i love my pink cover!! thankfully i still have the cover that came with the phone.
the next misfortune happened as i was rushing to the bus stop. i caught my arm on a fence and made a big pull in it, my new bench coat too!!! thankfully it didnt rip it but it pissed me off all the same. then as i turned the corner i saw 3 buses going past!!! thankfully another bus came 5 mins later!!
going to see secondnature at the carling academy 2 (old L2) tomorrow night. it should be a good gig and i get to use my new digital camera as well to take some pics :o)
i'm sooooooo proud of mr snarlie, i now have a copy of the book he has one of his poems published in - go here for details of the book. Its in an anthology by the Forward Press who run one of the most prestigious poetry competitions. His work is amazing and i'm very proud of him indeed. he entered 2 poems just for the hell of it, thinking he wouldnt even get noticed, nevermind published. the next anthology he will have a poem in is published soon - details here.
