took my braids out yesterday with the help of mr snarlie and then skippy later on. my head feels so light now and really small. its dead nice to not have to sleep with a tshirt on your head and to be able to tie it up in a ponytail when going for a shower instead of having to create a turban to keep it dry. i shampooed my hair 4 times yesterday, cos it needed it and cos it felt so damn good!!! i'm dying it tonight, back to my old dark red for the time being till i can recruit joolia to streak it again :o) and i'm getting a trim at voodou on saturday with the magical elaine so it'll be lovely again.
me and lee watched matrix revolutions on sunday whilst de-braiding. i got the dvd off laydee k for my birthday. i really enjoyed it although it had been ages since i saw matirx reloaded so i had lost track of the story and it took a while to get back into it. i think that its better than matrix reloaded and i really did enjoy it a lot :o) we also watched american pie 3, which is sooooo damn funny. i watched it at lexys the other week and enjoyed it so much i had to buy it. so this weekend i've actually watched 5 dvds and 1 film at the cinema!!! madness!!!
nothing much going on this week, nothing planned as yet. i'm going to lexys at some point, which will be cool. also, if i can get the day off, i'm going with her to the womens hospital next tuesday for her ultrasound when we might even find out the sex of the baby!!!! how exciting!!! i really hope i can get the day off, theres no reason i shouldnt be able to, so fingers crossed. i should know tomorrow when everyones back in.
going to newcastle for the weekend, the weekend after next to see an old friend who i met on holiday in crete when i was 15. shes a lovely lovely person but i havent seen her in like 6 years or something!!! we're going on 2 major nights out whilst i'm there. one night we're going to the rock type bars and the other night we're going to the posher places, which should be fun :o) i'm going over there on the friday and then coming back on the sunday so it should be a nice break.
anyhoo, i'm off to surf the net while i can :o)
