so i went to the doctors, got to see a very good doctor rather than the shite one. he did reflex tests, tested the feeling in both arms in comparison to eahc other, he ummed and aah-ed a bit and then admitted that he had no idea what the problem was. it cant be caused by the sciatica as its in a different area of the body, it cant be a trapped nerve cos that wouldnt make my hand swell up or my arm go numb. so hes gonna leave it to the consultant to figure out and gave me some stronger pain killers to take in the meantime. fair play to him tho, i was in his surgery for 20 mins whilst he tried to figure out what the problem was.
