had a brilliant night out on saturday for my birthday. started off in the varsity and i was joined by (is careful not to miss anyone off this time) craig, caroline, bob, tom, kayte, snarlie, mike, julia, al and skippy. we took our usual place on the blacony and filled up 3 tables!! back in the old days we used to go there all the time but we havent been for a while. it was a little confusing as well as theyve now changed the name to the symphony, but its basically the same, just with some couches and sofas.

from there we headed straight for the KH as it was pretty late when we realised we should be moving on. i was escorted down the hill by snarlie and tom, my bitches :o) the KH was pretty busy but thankfully escapes the grand national crowd, apart from the odd person wandering around looking confused in a hat.

i had loads and loads to drink, saw loads of people including the iconic Patchie and his gorgeous Lady Anna, sef and dave, and mr skumdawg himself. Even managed to get myself a birthday snog, which is always good :o)

back to work tomorrow, i'm signed off till thursday but i'm bored so i'm going back. called my boss before and told him so theres no changing my mind now. then at the weekend me and kayte and julia are off to ross on wye for a girly weekend, which will be cool :o)

had my gastroscopy on friday, which was highly unpleasant and not a nice experience at all!! they couldnt find a hernia, which is good, so theyve taken a biopsy to see for sure if i have the helicobacter pylori thing as its a more reliable way to test it than the blood test apparently. i managed to do it just using the anaestetic throat spray rather than being sedated, but it was really really horrible. should get the results in a couple of weeks anyhoo.

off to see the gorgeous Lexy tomorrow night, which i'm definitley looking forward to as its been way too long since i saw her :o)
