had a busy old time recently. on saturday i spent the day going to the launderette with lee and then chilling with him for the rest of the afternoon, before going to tom and gemmas housewarming party.

it was great to see their new house for the first time at last. its a lovely house, i wouldnt mind living there myself!! at the party were tom and gemma, gary, motti, nichola, lee, skip, al and me. we had a great night playing on the ps2, the eye toy, the game cube, and sing star, which we successfully pissed off the neighbours with :o)

very large amounts of booze including tequila were consumed by some of us (hic) and i think a great night was had by all!!

on sunday after my hangover wore off i went to lees for tea and then we headed into town to meet lisa and dan from my work as we had tickets to see dylan moran at the royal court. he was absolutely brilliant, i laughed my ass off all the way through!

last night was aquafit, which was normal until the journey home when we almost got caught up in a police road block, which this morning transpired to be this:

A MURDER investigation was under way last night after a dramatic police chase ended with a woman's body being found in a car.

Up to 15 police cars gave chase to a silver Ford Mondeo, over the 12 miles from Widnes to Liverpool, after receiving a call that the passenger, a woman in her twenties, was in danger.

Officers used "stinger" devices to stop the car, which then crashed into bollards in Sefton Park, but the woman was already dead.

Police then arrested a 41-year-old man from Bradford, who was last night being questioned at a police station on Merseyside.

The dramatic scenes unfolded before onlookers who were out walking in the leafy suburban area to take advantage of the good weather. Witnesses described seeing the woman's legs dangling out of the car's front window before the car came to a halt.

Last night, police said they could not confirm how the woman had died, but there were reports she had been shot. An armed response unit was at the scene.

Cheshire Constabulary received a call at 8.24pm from someone saying they were concerned about the woman's safety.

The chase was mounted in Widnes and Cheshire police chased the vehicle for about 12 miles until it reached Liverpool, when Merseyside Police joined in.

Cheshire Police activated their stingers to stop the car shortly before 9pm.

Sefton Park was swarming with more than 30 emergency vehicles, including three ambulances, after the incident.

A tent was put up around the woman's body next to the Mondeo, which was still at the scene, with forensics officers combing the scene for evidence.

Merseyside Police Inspector Steve Lewis said: "I can confirm that a man has been arrested after a woman's body was found in a car."

A force spokeswoman added: "The body was found in a car which crashed into bollards at Sefton Park."

Police said it was not known if the woman was killed before the chase or en route to Liverpool.

One woman, who did not wish to be named said she saw the car turn on to Aigburth Drive and then noticed that its tyres were flat.

it was scary, there were police cars everywhere and even a police helpicopter was out, so we didnt hang around!!!

anyhoo, off for a swim tonight with skip and maybe others, hopefully the journey home will be uneventful this time!!!

i'm looking forward to the evil girls underwear if you dare party on saturday. just hope my corset comes in time or i'll have nothing to wear!!!

Our birth date describes who we are, what we are good at and what our inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the challenges we are facing. A Birth Number does not prevent you from being anything you want to be. It will just color your choice differently and give you a little insight.

To figure out your Birth Number, add all the numbers in your birth date together, like in the example, until there is only one digit.

Example:
March 20, 1950
3 + 20 + 1950 = 1973
1 + 9 + 7 + 3 = 20
2 + 0 = 2

Keep going until you end up with a single digit number. 2 is the Birth Number to read from the birth date in the example.

I'm a 9 apparently!!!

i'm gonna copy my fellow bloggers and talk about the weather. how flipping hot is it? it was worse yesterday tho, i went out for 5 mins to do some errands and came back sweating like a whore in a church!! seems a little more bearable today tho when i popped to the mighty home and bargain in my lunch hour. i love the summer, but not when its so hot that its horribly sweaty and uncomfortable!

i've been thinking for a while about what to write about the london bombings and i still cant put it into words. its such a horrible situation and the utter revulsion i feel for the terrorists cant be put into words. i just cant imagine what it'd be like if something similar happened in liverpool and i hope it never becomes a reality.
