went to my mate gary's 21st on friday night. i used to work with gary but he recently left for a better job as he has a baby on the way. it was in a function room in norris green which was very much like something out of phoenix nights. after that me and lee headed to town but only ended up staying in the kh for about an hour as hardly anyone was around. when i got in my headache that i'd had for a few hours developed into a killer migraine, which had me throwing up till 5 in the morning, which was nice.

on saturday night we went to caitis 21st party at dish on hardman street. she had a small but very funky back room private booth thing with jugs of cocktails, bits of food, and a lovely birthday cake. after that we headed down to the KH and after drinking mainly water, we left round 2am to get a few hours sleep before the santa dash!

so this morning me, skip, mandy and caz dragged ourselves out of bed at an ungodly hour to be in town for 9am for the santa dash round liverpool city centre in aid of the marina dagliesh charity. it was also a record attempt to get at least 4000 santas together, so we might be record breakers!! floof was supposed to be coming with us too but she wussed out cos shes not feeling well. we're offically hardcore now :o)

as mandy and caz ran off ahead, me and skip decided to briskly walk the 5k and made it back in a decent time, about 50 mins we think. which isnt bad when u consider we've done absolutely no training and we were dressed as santa. the weather was ok, cold but sunny, and we just managed to avoid the rain. we got given a goodie bag and a medal at the end, which is always good. its our second race medal this year! we got the train home as half of town was blocked off and we had fun freaking out people on the train.
