oh boy, what a day.... started off well, had a driving lesson first thing this morning that i was really pleased with. i havent had a lesson in about a year so i thought i'd forget a lot of stuff, such as steering and when to change gear, but i hadnt lost touch at all! i had a really good lesson and i was proud of myself!

Then, i went into town, by myself cos robs skin was drastically peeling off due to sunburn, and thats when things started to go wrong. Firstly, i somehow couldnt get my pin code right for my switch card, and managed to get it wrong three times, i.e. if i'd got it wrong again my card would've been retained. so i had to go to tescos to get cashback so i could pay for my tattoo. I then went to the tattoo place to be told that i would have to come back at about 3pm, which i had expected.

The next catastrophe was to do with my mobile phone. My phone is on the vast majority of the time, i hardly ever turn it off, if i'm in work its on silent, but i did do cos i was going to the tattoo place. So, this caused me to forget what my pin code is for my phone which i need to enter when i turn it back on. I forgot it and then locked my sim card cos of this. I then had to go and phone my mum to get her to tell me the unlock code for it, as i had the same problem a few weeks ago and had to ring up for the code and had written it down just in case i needed it again. So all in all, it was a bad day for pin codes!!!!!

Anyways, i mooched round town all day, sometimes with a girl from work, and generally did nothing. Didnt buy anything of interest, just dinner and some funky dice hair bobbles. at long last i went back to dermagraffiti - the tattooist in quiggins, and got my tattoo done. Its the chinese symbol for music and its on the base of my back. it hurt more than the last one (which is on the back of my shoulder) but it wasnt that bad, and only took about 25 minutes. It isnt hurting at the moment, i cant feel it at all. i really really like it and i'm so glad i didnt bottle out!

I'm not going out tomorrow night after all now, cos people are skint. I dont mind really, i could do with saving some money. me and rob are going round to Lexys house, bearing chocolate and the return of spinal tap on dvd. it should be a good night. Lexy is a very dear friend of mine, who i dont get to see anywhere near as much as i'd like to.

The new series of big brother is starting in about 5 minutes, i wonder if it'll be any good this year... i'm gonna watch it and find out........
