soooo after that i gabbed to my wonderful blokie for a bit and then booked myself a theory test. its on the 20th august... in 3 weeks!!! should be enough time to get it all learnt. i've been learning it a bit but i'll really have to make an effort now cos i dont want to fail it and waste money when theres no need to! for some reason after that i got very hyper active, which really wasnt very good in this heat!!! ah well.
all i've done this evening is tidy my pit of a bedroom. filled 2 bin bags full of crap, and theres soooo much more to go!! wanna get my junk thrown away so it'll be less hassle to cope with when i finally get to move out!!!
went to see goldmember last night, it was really fucking good. i wasnt amazingly keen on the other austin powers films but this one is really really funny! i recommend it! went with people from work. before going to the cinema we went to the new pub thats next door to our work, where city pets used to be. its a wetherspoons pub - llyods bar - the fall well. how many names does one pub need???!!?? surely its just gonna confuse you when you're drunk!! ah well, it was nice anyway. its really posh in there but not in an uncomfortable, snobby way. we really liked it. it does really good food thats very very reasonably priced too. we'll certainly be going there again.
in fact, i'm meeting skippy and our old mate charlie there on thursday which should be nice! havent seen charlie in aaaaaaaaaages and i havent seen skippy in a month or so, so we'll have lots of catching up and gossiping to do, which is always good!!!
caz, queen of the mooncats is home too! shes the one who went to jordan and those types of places for summer, to dig up bits of old stuff in the desert. she was supposed to be going to another dig in portugal soon but thats all fallen through which is really bad, but good at the same time cos it means she isnt jetting off now till march! me and rob are going over to see her tomorrow night, which is nice!
i havent mentioned it yet cos i didnt want to say anything too soon, but i've given up smoking!!!! i havent had a single pull of a cigarette in over a week now. i tried to give up a fortnight ago, but as i was off work that week i found it too difficult, but still only had a maximum of 5 in a week. i now have not smoked since the sunday before last (21st july i think). i'm not even craving cigarettes! it does feel weird when i realise that i would normally be having a cigarette at a certain point in the day, like the last 10 minutes of my lunch hour i used to go out for a smoke. i'm really proud of myself. if anyone sees me smoking then slap me, i really mean it!
gonna be out this weekend! havent been out in ages! its karl from works birthday so i've said i shall come out. should be a good laugh hopefully!!!!!! i'm hoping that jude, my partner in crime at work, is coming too cos she's kewl. she's totally tee total and has been for about 2 years now, but shes the biggest nutcase in the world when we go out (in a good way!!!!) i would like to see her drunk but i respect her decision not to drink and would never try and force her to drink or anything like that.
