got a driving lesson in the morning, at 9am! so much for the lie-in! i'm quite looking forward to it! then i'm waiting in for telewest to call me cos i applied for a job and they emailed me saying they were gonna call me to arrange or conduct a telephone interview. a girl i used to work with works there now and she loves it, and its loads of money and seems interesting. so fingers crosssed and all that. i'll just have to remember to put my poshest phone voice on! robs also applying for this, he's got his phone interview next week i think!
its robs birthday on thursday which should be good. i got him loads of nice pressies which i think he'll love. hes having a bit of a party at his on saturday involving large amounts of curry and drinking and stuff like that. i think it'll be a good one, theres lots of people coming.
next monday i got the callback interview thing for the data input job. not too nervous about it at the moment but i'll be more nervous on the day itself. but i got something to look forward to - going to see no doubt, green day, less than jake, a, rival schools and hoobastank. should be a brilliant day! i sooooo cant wait!!!!!!!
met with the peeps from the yahoo trvia club on saturday. it was fun! we all met in blakes and had a good chat and took the piss out of the karaoke. there was less people there than i thought there'd be but it was still good fun. me and rob shared a lovely jug of tequila sunrise which was only 6 quid! he also suggested that we get a couple of shooters called bain dead. they were so gross it wasnt funny! they had baileys in but some frutiy kinda thing that made it go all curdled and blobby and horrible. i'm glad i downed it fast and didnt try and sip it or i'm sure i wouldve been sick. i dont think i'll be trying that one again! me and rob got the last train home, got yummy take away - half pound cheeseburger for me and a char sui chow mein for rob - only a few minutes before it was supposed to close! we got home a watched telly for a bit and then went to bed.
on sunday evening we went to see rollerball at the cinema. it was really really good. its very different to the original but i expected that, and it wasnt different in a bad way. i usually end up getting bored about half way through a film but i didnt want this one to end! pink appeared in rollerball, as herself but she was only in it 5 or 6 times and she was just singing and not acting or anything. spliknot were also in it at one point which made rob happy. we had planned to walk the mile or so back from the cinema but it was pissing it down so we got a taxi.
when we got in we watched the osbournes and jackass, both of which were really really kewl! they're 2 of my favourite programs! i ordered myself a great tshirt last week which says i wish i lived with the osbournes on the front of it. i have it now and its a great t-shirt! really nice quality and a perfect fit!
was watching wimbeldon before.... i'm sorry but after 5 mintues it bores me! and it always seems like wimbeldon lasts much longer than the 2 weeks i'm told it lasts. its almost as boring as snooker, yet not as bad as golf! golf is so dull and boring that i'd rather eat my own head than watch it!
