okies, so after my marathon post got wiped off last night, here goes....

sooo had a good weekend, on friday i went to robs after work cos no one could be arsed going to the gig and stuff, and we watched telly, and tea and played around on the net all night. was a chilled evening :o)

on saturday daytime we went to manchester. got off at Picadilly station which is fucking massivge and very cool. its very modern with loads of shops inside and an airport style conveyor belt walk way thing to get from one end to the other. so when we got to manchester we headed straight for Afflecks palace. that [place is so fucking cool. it has so much variety of reall cool stuff in there. it has everything that quiggins has, and then some!!! the stuff in there is so good, i wanted to buy so much, but i got an emily t-shirt and some bits and bobs.

after mooching round for couple of hours we headed back to liverpool. we went to stigmata, the piercing shop in quiggins, and got my labret barbel changed for a shorter one. it didnt half feel wierd when he took it out. the inside of my lip felt all rubbery and strange cos i've got used to how it feels with a bar in it. i also got my tragus ring changed for a barbel, which looks cool. i'd had the same ring in it from the start, so i decided it was time to change it.

after that we headed back to robs, via blockbuster. we got 40 days and 40 nights, and dog soldiers. and then we went over to tescos and bought tea. we bought a tortilla kit thing and chicken, peppers and veg. basically you fry the lot, and some spices and wrap it all up in a tortilla. it was lovely. we also bought a bottle of wine, blossom hill of course, and some carolans, which is like baileys.

the films were brilliant. we watched Dog Soldiers first. its a brilliant black comedy/horror film with some great funny bits and loads of blood, guts and gore. for example, theres a bit where one of the characters is mauled by a werewolf and his intestines start to fall out. the next thing, the dog in the film tries to run off with one of them!!! heh heh. its a bloody good film, much much better than i expected!!!

next we watched 40 days and 40 nights. i expected this film to be in a similair vein to american pie and such films, but it wasnt at all. it was hysterically funny parts, and very sensitive and emotional in others. josh hartnett is fantastic in it, and the girl who is the love interest type person in episode 2 is brilliant as well. we both thoroughly enjoyed it. rob was very dubious of it at first, but he enjoyed it a hell of a lot.

on sunday i went over to lexys house. we had dinner, chicken and herbs :o) and watched Riding in Cars with Boys, a Drew Barrymore film on sky premier. the film was brilliant, very soppy and touching, and we both had tears in our eyes at several points during the film. its definitley a good girly film, but not too soppy for the blokes to watch it.

after that we played Tony Hawk 4 on the PS2. that game is so much harder than the previous versions. to unlock different levels you have to do challenges. some of them are so damn hard!! one i managed to do is where you have to get your character to manual all the way round a long "s" bend. this it so hard as you have to watch this balance indicator thing and keep it as steady as possible to keep your balance, and its not as easy as it sounds. after ages and ages of trying i managed to get it done, i am the manual queen (apparently).

soooooooooo i'm in work now, bright and early, on a 9-5.30 shift all week, but with holiday and days off, i'm only working today, tomorrow and saturday, which is nice. me and skip are judging a battle of the bands competition with others at the fudge on wednesday, which should be fun :o) anyways, almost time for me to do some work, or at least pretend to!!
