had a brief wander round the shops today at lunch with snarlie, the sales always turn people a little insane. for some reason people spend shit loads of money on stuff they dont need just cos its priced a little cheaper than normal, its madness. when i used to work in evans the sales were a nightmare!! the shop ended up looking like a jumble sale by lunchtime!! music zone sales were bad too, the queue was permanently right round the shop and people would be buying random videos they'd never watch just cos they were 99p!! i'm always grateful at this time of year that i dont work in retail anymore.
