thursday - arrived about 11, unpacked and chilled
friday - shopped in ross on wye, went to the pub in the evening
saturday - got lost miles from where we should have been thanks to mike and marks map reading but ended up having a nice tea in a pub called the black cock (lol) and then watched the sun go down from a field on a hill and stroked some horses. earlier in the day we also went to visit Hellens House, which was closed but there are pictures of me by the signpost to follow :o)
sunday - went for sunday lunch in the pub, then went back to said pub and did pub quiz in the evening
monday - went shopping again, tidied house and then came home.
julias brothers house is gorgeous, very posh with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 storey cottage type house next door but one from a good pub. they have two cats which we were minding, Amy and Sabrina, who were just soooo sweet!!!
was nice to get back to my own bed last night, i really didnt want to get up this morning at all, i nearly cried when it was finally time to get up or be late for work!!!
going for a swim with skippy tonight. ate soooo much crap over the weekend so i really need the excercise, and besides which, i actually enjoy it!!!! gonna try and do at least 14 lengths again!!
