eeessssh, what a day i had yesterday!! everything was sooooooo calm in my house, me and my mum were going to go and do some last minute shopping in asda... i'd had a lie in and was about to go for a shower when i heard this huge crunch noise and my mum went into hysterics. i was like, what the hell has happened, looked out the upstairs window at the front to see that a car had driven into my dads car which was parked in the drive. i only realised after i looked out of the window downstairs that my dad had managed to drive my mums car into the back of his car whilst pulling it into the drive!!!

my mum was crying and shouting and allsorts and my dad was in total shock, thankfully no one was hurt or anything. spent the rest of the day consolling my mum and dad who were just so upset and in shock about what had happened. thankfully my aunty and uncle came round too, which was a godsend, cos i was starting to feel a bit helpless and out of my depth. my dads car only had minor damage and was at the garage not long after, and then back a few hours later. it still needs some work doing it, but its mainly cosmetic stuff. its certainly safe to drive.

my mums car is fucked. i didnt realised till later that evening that what had actually happened was that my dad had drive into his car, panicked and reversed out very sharply, hitting the back on next doors drive wall, and panicked again and drove it back again into his car. i didnt even realise it had moved after the first impact! scary huh!

anyways, my mums car was picked up this morning and taken away to be fixed but its gonna take ages, with xmas and new year being so close, but at least it wasnt a right off!!! my dad is still in shock about the whole ordeal. he's not upset anymore but he's just not his usual self. he'll laugh about it in a few weeks time.

anyways, after all that i went into town, popped into music zone to see jude and pick up extra pressies, and then went to the swan with karina. it was pretty busy so we headed for the top balcony type floor, where we met skip's ex housemate mandy and a friend of hers. anyways, we had our pint and a good chat, and then went to the jacaranda and various different pubs. we had a whale of a time, and plently of deep and meanful conversations, but sometimes you just need that kind of night dont you?

i'm off now for a few days, going to my sister in sheffield till boxing day. it should be fun hopefully!!!then the day after boxing day i'm going over to robs. i already have the presents he's got for me here but i'm not allowed to open them to xmas day of course!! it's all so exciting. i have a rough idea of some of what i'm getting from rob and from family people too, but i dont know all the details, so i'm looking forward to the suprise! my mum is buying me a cheap double divan bed as part of my present cos thats the main thing i need for my new house. we're also gonna go shopping for other nice bits and bobs too before i move in.

anyways, i'm off now, need to have lunch and then load up the car, dogs included!!!
