go see SKIPPY'S BLOG today, shes written a great piece on the so called "cultural redevelopment" of liverpool city centre, which is a joke. it just doesnt seem to make sense to me. there is culture there, quiggins has been around for years. it is situated in a historically significant building, but they want to move it, probably to another empty shop in town which will have moved to the new shopping centre theyre going to build round chavasse park. it just doesnt make sense. by all means develop, but dont wipe out culture!
