had a day off yesterday, had a nice lie in due to playing the ps2 till 2.30am the night before, and then pottered around before going to meet laydee k in town. i was a little early so i went to WRC. theyve just moved to a much larger shop which is sooooo big and nice. i bought myself a lovely carhaart coat for winter. it wasnt cheap but it'll be worth it if it keeps me warm. its a waterproof black one with fleecy camoflage stuff inside :o)
i then went down to quiggins cafe to meet laydee k, who'd also just arrived. we had hot choclate with cream, and dandelion and burdock. i had a piece of choclate lumpy bumpy cake and she had toffee lumpy bumpy cake, which seriously is the name!! they were lovely but very rich. we had a good gossip and put the world to rights and then went for a mooch.
i had to get my dad a birthday card and some bits for his present and we wandered round for a while, popping into anna summers of course!!! we then went our seperate ways and i got the bus to my folks house to give my dad his birthday presents, as its his 56th (i think) birthday today.
i only stayed for a couple of hours as my dad was in a foul mood, but i got fed and then me and my mum went to asda to get a few bits of food, and a microwave for me as the one in the flat is knackered. she then gave me a lift home and i se up the new microwave, did bits of fluff and then went to bed by 11.30.
i also did some xmas present wrapping before i went to bed!!!! i know, i'm a freak, but i'm an organised one. got 3 friends presents totally sorted, half of 2 other friends, and 2 friends birthday presents sorted too, so i dont have to worry about them now :o) it was good to get a fairly early night but i still feel shattered this morning, i blame the weather.
all lonely today in work, the rest of my team are off. i'm only in today cos i swapped shifts with someone from another team so that i could have sunday off as i'm out on saturday night. its quite nice at the same time tho, its pretty quiet and no one bothers me, and i still have skip to talk to on email.
going to snarlies tonight to play baldurs gate, we need to get it finished before the new one comes out at the end of the month :o) just bought soul calibur from CD WOW as its much much cheaper than anywhere else :o) apparently its an excellent game, a bit like tekken, which i love, but even better :o)
cant wait for the weekend, having a big night out on saturday for ddevils birthday, should be very cool :o) i will be very very drunk indeed!!!
