had a good day today, we learnt stuff about the different telewest products and stuff. on the blueyonder (telewests internet service) site you can check, by netering your postcode, if broadband is available for you, and thankfully mine is!!! so when i'm entitled to my free package after my 3 month probationary period then i'll be able to have broadband!!!!!!! woooo hooo!!!! you can also run a check on your computer to see if its compatible and mine is too so yay on that bit too!!!!!!!!!
the new shoes were fine today, its gonna take a bit used to being so high up, as i've been used to wearing flat shoes for work for the past year, but they didnt hurt me or anything. i have a small blister on one foot, but i expected that.i have funny shaped feet so i often get blisters. tomorrow we have "dress down day" where we can wear whatever we like. that also counts if we work over the weekend, which is kewl! we can basically wear anything on frida, saturday or sunday, so i'll be wearing my baggy cords and a tshirt and my trainers :o) we're all going out for a drink tomorrow night after work to celebrate getting through our first week, which'll be nice. we should also be finding out what teams were in tomorrow!!
i've noticed how much more comfortable i am physically in my new job. i'm not sweating my arse off all day and i dont ache at the end of the day cos i havent seen on my feet and running around all day, its so nice!
going to lexys on saturday night which will be kewl! good luck with your presentation tomorrow hunny, you'll do just fine *hugs* i'll keep everything crossed for you!!!!!
