oooOOOo scary day today, first day actually taking customers calls and stuff! me and the girl i was sat next to were shit scared! it took us ages to actually get the courage to take our first call!!! after the first hour or so it wasnt so bad, i mean we still had to ask for help from the supervisors stuff but we werent as scared!! the supervisor type team leader people are brilliant, they're really helpful and dont treat you like a total fool!

so, we were working pairs for today but i think i'll be wanting to work by myself tomorrow. no point putting it off and its the only way to get the confidence to do the job properly! jump in at the deep end! why the hell not!

some of the customers were funny, really nice people who still managed to find a sense of humour even tho their digital channels were fucked. but there were some who were just impatient and arsey for no reason, which is just pathetic. i had a silly one whose fault was bloody obvious but he didnt believe me!! in the end i managed to persuade him that i was right but it took several attempts at explaining it in slightly different ways before he gave in!

i think i'm gonna enjoy it tho, the majority of the customers are fine with you and dont mind running backwards and forwards to their telly to do checks and stuff and they still have a sense of humour and are actually very grateful to you trying to help them sort their problems out. i met my new team leaser today as well as she seems lovely, really friendly and approachable, so that'll make life easier.
